About this item: FUNCTION: Privacy door handles feature a small rotating knob on one side for internal door locking and a security release function on the other. The door can be locked and unlocked from the inside with a simple turn of the knob. They are used for interior doors to combine security and privacy. SECURITY: These satin chrome door knobs feature a security device on the exterior knob. Using the included priority key, the door can be quickly and securely unlocked from the outside in an emergency. These security knobs are not designed for use with normal lock and unlock keys. APPLICATION: These door locks can be used on interior doors 35 mm to 45 mm thick. The tubular latch is adjustable to 60 mm or 70 mm (the distance between the center of the hole and the edge of the door). They are suitable for both commercial and residential applications. INSTALLATION: These satin chrome door handles come with fitting instructions and templates for easy installation. All fixings and accessories are supplied with color-matched screws, a tubular latch, and a priority key. This handle set can be used for left- or right-handed doors.
