Signature Wooden Head - Black Nickel Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Installation Kit Angled 15mm (130mm version)

Room-by-room comfort with thermostatic radiator control

This traditional Signature Wooden Head TRV set pairs a thermostatic radiator valve with a matching lockshield, helping you manage the warmth of an individual room without relying only on the main heating controls. The angled body connects to 15mm pipework, while the wax sensor responds automatically to changes in room temperature.

Why choose these radiator valves?

• Set each room's warmth more independently: The thermostatic head responds to room temperature and regulates hot-water flow through that radiator as the selected comfort level is reached.
• Use less unnecessary heat in rooms that are already warm: By reducing hot-water flow when the room is warm enough, the valve can help limit unnecessary heating in that space.
• Add protection during very cold weather: Its frost-protection function can allow some flow at very low temperatures, helping reduce the risk of water freezing in the radiator and nearby pipework.
• Finish both sides of the radiator with one set: Both the thermostatic side and matching lockshield are included, simplifying the parts you need to source for the radiator.
• Use a fitting designed around your pipe direction: The angled format is designed for pipe routes that need a 90-degree turn into a side radiator connection, such as pipework rising from below.
• Adjust the radiator to suit how you use the room: Multi-temperature control provides a choice of thermostatic settings rather than limiting the radiator to fully open or fully closed.
• Benefit from automatic response to changing room temperature: Temperature changes cause the wax sensor to expand or contract, allowing automatic control of the valve mechanism.
• Choose a finish that complements the installation: Its traditional form suits column radiators and interiors where the valves are intended to contribute to the overall look. The Black Nickel colour with a polished finish gives the visible valve set a considered decorative appearance.
• Choose a valve set backed beyond installation: A 5 years guarantee gives you longer-term reassurance beyond the initial installation.
