Signature Wooden Head - Black Nickel Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Lockshield Angled 10mm

Smarter room comfort from a thermostatic valve set

This traditional Signature Wooden Head TRV set pairs a thermostatic radiator valve with a matching lockshield, helping you manage the warmth of an individual room without relying only on the main heating controls. The angled body connects to 10mm pipework, while the wax sensor responds automatically to changes in room temperature.

Why choose these radiator valves?

• Fine-tune warmth one radiator at a time: Instead of leaving the radiator fully open, the TRV adjusts the flow of hot water as the surrounding room temperature changes.
• Cut back on wasted heat once the room is comfortable: Restricting flow when less heat is needed can help prevent an already-comfortable room from continuing to receive unnecessary radiator heat.
• Reduce the risk of freezing in colder conditions: When surrounding temperatures become very low, frost-protection behaviour can permit limited flow to help protect the radiator and connected pipework.
• Get the thermostatic valve and matching lockshield together: The set includes the TRV and matching lockshield together, giving you both radiator valves in one coordinated purchase.
• Plan the radiator connection with the right valve shape: The angled format is designed for pipe routes that need a 90-degree turn into a side radiator connection, such as pipework rising from below.
• Move beyond simple on-or-off radiator control: Multi-temperature control provides a choice of thermostatic settings rather than limiting the radiator to fully open or fully closed.
• Let the thermostatic mechanism respond without constant adjustment: The wax sensor expands and contracts as surrounding temperature changes, operating the thermostatic mechanism automatically.
• Complete the radiator with a coordinated visible fitting: A traditional silhouette gives the valve set more visual character than a purely functional modern fitting. The polished Black Nickel finish helps coordinate the valves with the radiator and nearby fittings.
• Add longer-term confidence to the purchase: The included 5 years guarantee adds confidence when choosing a valve set for ongoing everyday use.
