Connection
These valves feature a ½" BSP radiator connection, making them suitable for all standard UK radiators and towel rails. The 15mm pipework connection matches most household plumbing systems, with 8mm and 10mm versions available for homes with microbore pipework.

Installation

These pipe covers are made from solid brass. They can be cut down in height to suit your pipework. They are designed to slide over 15mm copper pipes and therefore, must be fitted before the valves and radiator.

This pack includes a bleed valve to bleed your radiator and a blanking plug, which goes on the opposite side to the bleed valve (at the top of the radiator or towel rail) to keep the unit completely sealed and functioning.

Fitting Type
Angled valves are the most popular choice for UK homes, connecting radiators to central heating pipework at a 90-degree angle. These valves are ideal if:

• Pipework comes up from the floor and the radiator connection is on the side.

• Pipework comes out of the wall and bends upward to meet a side connection.

• Pipework exits the wall and the radiator has bottom connections, though in this case, corner valves may provide a more discreet finish.

Each valve set includes a matching lockshield for the return side, ensuring a coordinated and balanced look.

Control Type
These are Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs), allowing precise control over the temperature in each room. A wax sensor inside the valve responds to ambient room temperature, regulating the flow of hot water into the radiator. Adjust the desired room temperature using the grooved markings on the valve head—more grooves indicate a warmer setting. TRVs also include frost protection mode, which automatically opens the valve slightly if the room temperature drops too low, protecting your system from freezing.
