The die support is not strong enough and the tap caliber isn't precise enough. I would recommend for small, quick jobs only.

At this price there was not much to expect, however: the teeth of the taps are dull when first tapping on steel (conventional, not HSS or other special steel). To be reserved for tapping on aluminum type metals but no more.
