It is used to start or stop the boiler and to regulate the temperature. The thermostat detects the ambient temperature, and when the actual ambient temperature is lower than the set temperature, the thermostat controls the boiler to start working.
When the actual ambient temperature is higher than the temperature you set, the thermostat controls the boiler to stop operating.
