Application: New spark plug. A good tool kit is used to repair damaged spark plug threads and extend spark plug life. Used to clean and reattach the spark plug terminal to the engine. If you know how to use a ratchet or wrench, this kit will allow you to repair the spark plug without having to remove the valve head.

Size: The thread repair tool comes with four sizes of spark plug inserts with different 14mm thread sizes. The tap is tapered so the tip fits the hole and re-drills the hole to fit the coil. Measure the diameter, thread, and pitch of the connector to determine if the kit is compatible.

Easy to install: Rotate the crankshaft to ensure no ports/valves are open.

Use the tap to install the new thread, select the appropriate insertion depth, and then screw it firmly into the new tap head. Grease the hammer (not included) to catch the metal shavings (instead of letting them fall into the hole) and rotate each half-circle a full turn.
