Description
• Installation location: Located inside the magnet housing, on the left or right side of the engine, near the flywheel (rotor).
【Installation Instructions】
(Important: This work takes place inside the engine and should be performed by a qualified technician. An engine oil change may be required.)
Safety Instructions: Disconnect the negative terminal of the vehicle battery. Park the vehicle on a level and secure surface. Depending on the design, it may be necessary to partially drain the engine oil (if the stator is oil-bathed). Removing the magnet housing: Remove the magnet housing from the side where the stator coil is located (exterior parts such as seats and side panels may need to be removed first). Removing the old stator: Disconnect the stator coil from the vehicle's wiring harness connector (usually a multi-pin connector). Loosen the screws securing the stator coil. Carefully remove the old stator, taking care not to damage any gasket residue. Cleaning and inspection: Thoroughly clean the mounting surface of the magneto cover and its bracket on the engine block. Check the pole faces of the flywheel (rotor) for unusual wear or metal shavings.
