Stirling Bold - Black Thermostatic Radiator Valve & Installation Kit Straight 15mm (130mm version)

Thermostatic control with a coordinated valve set

Give this radiator its own level of thermostatic control with the Stirling Bold Black TRV and lockshield set. The straight 15mm connection is designed for the appropriate pipe route, while the liquid sensor works with the valve to reduce hot-water flow when the room no longer needs as much heat.

Why choose these radiator valves?

• Give each room its own level of heating control: Thermostatic control lets this radiator react to the temperature of its own room rather than relying only on the main heating controls.
• Avoid heating a room more than you need: Automatic flow reduction helps avoid continuing to heat an individual room at full radiator output after it has reached the chosen comfort level.
• Keep a layer of frost protection in reserve: A frost-protection setting helps reduce freezing risk by allowing some hot-water flow when the room temperature drops to a very low level.
• Get the thermostatic valve and matching lockshield together: A matching lockshield is supplied with the thermostatic valve, so the corresponding valve does not need to be bought separately.
• Plan the radiator connection with the right valve shape: Straight valves suit side-entry radiator layouts where the pipework runs along the wall to meet the radiator.
• Set the radiator to a more suitable comfort level: Several thermostatic settings give you more flexibility than a simple manual on/off valve.
• Benefit from automatic response to changing room temperature: The liquid sensing element changes with room temperature and drives the valve's automatic thermostatic response.
• Make the valve set part of the radiator's overall look: The contemporary body shape is designed to complement modern radiators without adding unnecessary visual bulk. The Black colour with a matt finish gives the visible valve set a considered decorative appearance.
• Get extra peace of mind after fitting: With a 3 years guarantee, the set comes with added reassurance for the years after installation.
