The exhaust pipe gasket (paper gasket/exhaust pipe gasket) is an essential component of the exhaust system's sealing. It is installed between the cylinder's exhaust port and the muffler connection flange (exhaust pipe). Its primary function is to ensure that the hot, high-pressure exhaust gases are completely channeled through the muffler, preventing leaks at the gaskets. Replacing original gaskets damaged by prolonged exposure to high temperatures and pressures, carbon buildup, cracking, or disassembly can effectively resolve issues such as power loss, starting difficulties, unusual noises (whistling), localized cylinder overheating, and exhaust-related fouling of the machine's interior.
