This product is specifically designed for the STIHL MS260 and MS240 chainsaws. It conforms to the original factory specifications for this series. The air filter cover (the top cover of the air filter housing) serves as an external protective cover for the chainsaw's intake system and protects the internal filter element. It also seals tightly against the carburetor intake, preventing dust, wood chips, and moisture from entering the engine. Replacing the original cover with one that is damaged, deformed, or leaking due to prolonged use, sun exposure, or impacts restores the protective function for the filter and intake manifold and ensures the intake of clean air.
