This product was specifically developed for the STIHL Professional MS660 (and its predecessor, the MS66) and MS650 high-performance chainsaws. It conforms to the original factory specifications: Flywheel (magnetic flywheel/magnetic motor rotor). This component forms the heart of the engine. The ignition and cooling systems are also integrated. The flywheel features a dual core. Its precise external magnetic poles work in conjunction with the ignition coil (high-voltage coil) to interrupt magnetic field lines and generate current. Precise control of the ignition timing is ensured. Simultaneously, the powerful, integrated fan blades generate a strong airflow as they rotate, thus supplying energy to the engine block. The highly efficient forced-air cooling system ensures optimal cooling. Replacing the original flywheel due to corrosion, keyway damage, dynamic imbalance, or diminishing magnetization can completely resolve problems such as incorrect ignition timing, starting difficulties, high-speed misfires, power fluctuations, overheating, and excessive vibration during operation. These are complex issues.
