General description
Designed to combine individual radiator control with a coordinated finish, the Antique Brass Talus Bold thermostatic valve set includes both the thermostatic radiator valve (TRV) and a matching lockshield. Its angled layout suits the relevant pipe route, and the liquid sensing mechanism adjusts the valve as surrounding temperatures change.
Technical specifications
- Connection Size Type: 1/2 BSP
- Fitting Type: Angled
- Connection: 8mm
- Control Type: Multi Temperature Control
Usage
- Take more control of individual room comfort: The valve automatically alters hot-water flow through the individual radiator in response to the room temperature and selected setting.
- Make more efficient use of your central heating: Once the room needs less heat, the TRV can reduce flow through that radiator, helping make more efficient use of the hot water being circulated.
- Give the heating system extra protection from freezing conditions: When surrounding temperatures become very low, frost-protection behavior can permit limited flow to help protect the radiator and connected pipework.
- Avoid sourcing a matching lockshield separately: The set includes the TRV and matching lockshield together, giving you both radiator valves in one coordinated purchase.
- Use a fitting designed around your pipe direction: Where pipework approaches a side-entry radiator from the floor, an angled valve provides the change in direction needed at the connection.
- Tailor radiator output to the room's needs: Several thermostatic settings give you more flexibility than a simple manual on/off valve.
- Get automatic temperature-responsive control: The liquid sensing element changes with room temperature and drives the valve's automatic thermostatic response.
- Choose a finish that complements the installation: The contemporary body shape is designed to complement modern radiators without adding unnecessary visual bulk. The brushed & lacquered Antique Brass finish helps coordinate the valves with the radiator and nearby fittings.
- Buy with longer-term reassurance: A 5 years guarantee gives you longer-term reassurance beyond the initial installation.
