The tap is frost-resistant because the water recovery tap is made of alloy, the spout is brass, and the black fixing ring is plastic. A professional seal is typically achieved with thread sealant tape between the external metal threads and the internal plastic threads. The thread direction must be observed. - It will fit most standard British and European IBC containers where the support thread is a coarse S60X6 thread.
