This accessory is specifically designed for 1000-liter plastic tanks (also called IBCs or GRVs) used for rainwater harvesting, storage, and consumption.It attaches directly to the valve of your 1000L tank. Adapter + Tap connects to the valve of your 1000-liter tank.A Gardena-style quick-connect fitting can be clipped directly onto the tap to connect a garden hose to the tank and water directly from the tank. Is my valve compatible with your tap?To ensure compatibility, you must check the following: the outlet diameter of your valve: It must be 59 to 60 mm; the number of threads: Your valve outlet must have 3 to 4 threads, the thread is of the "artillery thread" type (S60X6). Caution: under no circumstances should this tap replace the valve on your tank.This tap must be mounted on a valve in good working order, and the valve must be in the closed position when you are not using water from the tank! This fitting is designed to fit S60x6 valves; see the diagram below with the thread specifications: D1: 60 mm - P1: 6 mm.
