General Description: The Magneto Armature Ignition Coil is designed for Briggs & Stratton engines, replacing part numbers 591459, 799650, 592841, 795315, 490586, 492341, 798853, and 495859. It ensures reliable and efficient ignition for your garden and DIY equipment. Installation: Step 1: Test the kill switch by attaching one multimeter probe to the switch wire and the other to ground. Activate the kill switch while it is off. Step 2: Remove the old spark plug from the cylinder and reattach it to the spark plug boot. Step 3: Check for a spark by placing the spark plug electrode to ground on the engine block. Pull the starter cord and check for a spark. Step 4: Install a new spark plug and repeat step 3. No spark indicates a faulty ignition coil.
