Description
What is a modular socket? It's a mechanism for connecting electrical devices. It's used to power modular equipment and devices in the distribution or communication panel.
This socket has two poles: live and neutral, capable of carrying a nominal current of 16 A, with a rated operating voltage of 230 V. It has an earth contact to ensure the device is connected to the protective circuit. Its screw terminals (5 mm diameter) can accommodate both flexible and rigid cables.
Modular socket: This mechanism is mounted directly onto the DIN rail of the panel.
It is easy to install; it needs to be connected to a 16-amp circuit breaker.
