General Description
The TONCHEAN needle ORP electrode is designed for testing aqueous solutions in various environments, such as aquariums, hydroponics, laboratories, and swimming pools. It is filled with a saturated colloidal KCl solution, making it ideal for inline ORP detection of wastewater containing chromium. Instructions for Use
- Maintain the saturated potassium chloride in the electrode tube at a certain height.
- Simultaneously immerse the test portion of the electrode (junction of the platinum core and sand) during measurement.
- Use a saturated quinonehydroquinone solution as the standard solution, with a storage time of 48 hours.
- Clean the platinum wire with a cotton ball soaked in acetone or alcohol in case of grease stains.
- For insoluble inorganic stains, rub with 1 mol/L hydrochloric acid.
- Wipe the electrodes with clean toilet paper after use.
