Ideal for sharpening up to 3 inch plane irons and chisels, the Trend DWS/CP8/FX Classic Pro Stone features a unique clearance channel on the extra coarse side for faster, cleaner cuts. The solid diamond surface on the fine side ensures precision sharpening, while the grit size is clearly marked for easy identification. This double-sided stone is designed with a precision flatness substrate and a unique diamond-shaped surface that prevents snagging when sharpening small or pointed tools. It comes complete with a pouch, cleaning block, and non-slip mat.

  • Grit: Fine 600 (25 micron) and Extra Coarse 180 (70 micron)

    • Usage

  • The 600 grit fine side is ideal for removing scratches left after flattening tools such as chisels and plane blades before progressing to fine honing and polishing.
  • The 180 grit extra coarse side features clearance channels for maximum dispersal of residue during sharpening or flattening.
  • Recommended use with Trend lapping fluid to prevent clogging or rusting and to assist in keeping tools clean.
  • Use with no pressure for optimal results.
