Typhoon Axis - Anthracite Horizontal Radiator H476mm x W1200mm Single Panel

Make the radiator part of the interior

Bring useful room heating and a stronger design feature together with this Typhoon Axis designer radiator from UK Radiators. Its matt Anthracite finish, single panel construction and 7-tube face give it a distinctive look, while the 476mm x 1200mm format makes the space it needs on the wall clear from the outset.

Why choose this radiator?

• Bring dependable warmth into everyday routines: Designed for a plumbed hot-water central-heating system, it provides room heating as part of your home's existing wet heating setup, helping keep the space comfortable through colder days and evenings.
• Use the wall space as part of the design: The 476mm x 1200mm horizontal format creates a strong visual line across the wall, making the radiator feel like an intentional part of the room rather than an afterthought.
• Keep the radiator profile more streamlined: The single-panel construction keeps the design simpler and shallower than a comparable double-panel format, helping reduce how far the radiator projects into the room.
• Make installation planning simpler: Wall brackets and masonry fixings are supplied with the radiator, so these core mounting components do not need to be sourced separately for a suitable masonry installation.
• Choose valves that suit your room: Radiator valves are not included, so you can select the valve type and finish separately to suit your pipework and coordinate with the radiator rather than being tied to a supplied style.
• Buy with greater confidence: BS EN 442 certification gives you reassurance that the radiator's declared performance is assessed against a recognised radiator standard; UKCA marking provides an additional recognised product-assurance point; the 20 years guarantee adds long-term reassurance after purchase.
• Make the finish part of the room: The matt anthracite finish gives the radiator a deeper, contemporary tone that adds definition without the stark contrast of black.
• Give the radiator a balanced designer rhythm: The 7-tube construction creates a repeated, structured face across the radiator, helping the heating feel intentionally designed rather than purely functional.
• Fit it in the intended orientation: This is a horizontal designer radiator and is intended to be installed in the stated horizontal orientation rather than rotated vertically, so its dimensions and layout should be planned around that position.
• Reduce the risk of defects reaching your home: The 9-step quality assessment process checks the product through a structured series of quality controls before it is dispatched, giving added reassurance around consistent quality and durability.
• Choose a finish tested for long-term durability: 200 hours of salt spray testing assesses resistance to corrosion and rust, helping provide reassurance against flaking, peeling and deterioration of the finish over time.
