General Description
This rubber hardness tester is designed to measure the hardness of materials such as sulfur rubber and plastics. It is easy to use, accurate, portable, durable, and stable. Made of alloy, it is water and rust resistant, with a fine finish. The connection device facilitates its use with a frame. Type A is suitable for various materials, including general rubber, synthetic rubber, soft rubber, poly grease, leather, and wax. Hold the hardness tester at least 12 mm from the smooth edge of the sample and apply vertical pressure until the needle makes contact with the sample. Maintain pressure for less than one second to obtain the reading. Use It is recommended to measure the hardness at several positions on the sample (at least 5 times) to obtain an average value. For microporous materials, measure at a distance of at least 15 mm. To improve accuracy, perform tests under stable and identical conditions.
