3. Operating Principle:

Due to the different coefficients of thermal expansion of bimetallic sheets, when the temperature changes, the thermal expansion and contraction of the two sides are different, so the degree of bending changes at different temperatures.

When the temperature is higher than the expansion temperature of the bimetallic strip, the contact position of the bimetallic strip is deformed and disconnected, and the circuit is disconnected.

When the temperature is higher than the expansion temperature of the bimetallic strip, the contact position of the bimetallic strip is deformed and disconnected, and the circuit is disconnected. Below the bimetallic strip's expansion temperature, the bimetallic strip's contact position returns to its original shape and closes, thus closing the circuit. When the actual ambient temperature is higher than the set temperature, the load and heat dissipation begin. Typically, the thermostat is normally open.
