Specifications: SMART SENSOR Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge This unit is a smart, portable product that adopts the principle of ultrasonic measurement and is microprocessor-controlled, providing fast and accurate thickness measurement for most industrial materials. This unit is widely used for various precise measurements of different materials/parts in the industrial field; one of its important applications is monitoring the thickness decrease during the operation of various pressure vessels. Widely used in manufacturing, metal processing, and commercial inspection. Scope of application: This unit is suitable for measuring materials that are good ultrasonic conductors, such as metal, plastic, ceramic, glass, etc., as long as the workpiece is measured on two parallel surfaces for thickness measurement. Before measuring (1) Connect the transducer to the main unit, press ON/OFF to turn on. The LCD screen will display in full screen for 0.5 seconds with backlighting, then the vertical bar will appear twice in a circular pattern, while the main display area will gradually display from 0000 to 9999. After this, the LCD screen will display the last sound velocity applied with the saved memory unit, indicating that the gauge is ready for use. (2) Selected and Adjusted Sound Speed: Press "VEL" to enter the sound speed interface. Press "VEL" again to select the reserved speed data by pressing " " or " " while "VEL" flashes on the LCD screen. If you need to adjust the sound speed data, press VEL once more. VEL and m/s will continue to flash, indicating that the device is adjusting. Then, increase or decrease the sound speed to the desired value by pressing " " and " ", and this value will be automatically saved.
