Towing Galvanised Safety Chain - 2000KG Breaking Load
When travelling on the road using a trailer, you must have a secondary coupling such as a chain. A simple yet effective fail-safe in the event of your primary coupling breaking, would be our Galvanised Trailer Safety Chain.
Our Heavy Duty Safety Chain comes in a galvanised finish which helps prevents rust and corrosion making it more durable. Our Towing Safety Chain is designed to be bolted onto your trailer at the end with the ring piece being dropped over the tow ball of your vehicle. In the event that the primary coupling detaches, then our Secondary Coupling Chain would alert the driver as it snags and would allow them to drive safely to a halt.
The law states that your unbraked trailer must have a secondary coupling that will keep the trailer connected to the tow vehicle in the event of it becoming detached.
