UniBond Mould Resistant Sanitary Sealant Cartridge is a one-component, ready-to-use silicone sealant designed for sealing joints in warm, humid environments prone to mould growth. It contains a fungicide and is ideal for use around baths, toilets, wash basins, showers, kitchens, worktops, and tiling joints.

Installation

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or any materials that may affect adhesion.

Remove any residues of old sealant or mould completely, using a silicone remover if necessary.

Mask off the edges of the joint with masking tape for better sealing results.

Apply the sealant to fill the joint completely.

Smooth off the seal with an UniBond Sealant Smoother Tool for good contact with bonding surfaces.

Remove any masking tape immediately before the surface skin forms on the sealant.

Usage

Fresh sealant can be cleaned with a cloth soaked in white spirit or alcohol (e.g., methylated spirit).

Cured sealant can be removed by scraping with a razor blade or using a special silicone remover product.

Touch dry in 20 minutes; fully dry in approximately 24 hours.
