It's time to organize your cables with our range of top-brand cable ties (Legrand, ING Fixations, Sapiselco...) in various colors and diameters. Colson or Colring range? UV resistant? Contact our expert to help you choose!
You may have noticed that the lifespan of your devices is often shortened by the treatment their wires endure. A weak point in electrical equipment, it is crucial to protect them from the risks of being pulled out. Cable ties are an economical and secure solution to this problem.
First, determine the type of cable you want to bundle with the tie. If it involves cables that generate a lot of heat, prefer our models resistant to high temperatures. They are sometimes used for organizing plumbing pipes, which can also heat up and even expand. The same goes if you want to bundle cables outdoors; models resistant to UV are highly recommended.
For Legrand, the Colson range is general-purpose and suitable for both plumbing and electrical uses. The Colring range is more specialized in electrical cables, notably by complying with EN 62275, which is an electrical certification.
More generally, pay close attention to the length and especially the diameter of the ties to avoid having slack and especially to prevent your tie from breaking under the tension exerted by the cables. Measure the diameter and required length well before, or opt for one of our assortments if you need them in different sizes.
With this economical fixing solution, your keyboards, mice, and other computer equipment will last much longer, much to the delight of your wallet!
