Description
This DIY kit fits all propane and natural gas appliances, grills, fireplaces, and stoves, but may require some modifications during installation. It may not fit all existing mounting holes or wire lengths. The cable length is 11.8 inches. (If the power is insufficient, you can use two.)
Output voltage: >=20kV, spark distance: 3-5mm, wire length: 30cm, electrode: M10*1, length: 57mm. Head with universal mounting thread.
No batteries required. Simply press once to create a spark; otherwise, the spark will jump to the bottom instead of the top burner. Lifespan: over 30,000 times. You may need to push the rod in to get a proper spark.
INSTALLATION TIP: VERY IMPORTANT!!! - You must hold it against a metal control panel, or add metal to achieve the correct mono core, in order to get a proper spark. Without a good connection, the igniter will not light the burner because the spark will not come from the electrode pin head.
Straight needle length: 19.5 mm, 135-degree head 9.0 mm, wire resistance 392°F. If the kit fails to light the burners, check the burner body and make sure the grouped points on the igniter are making a good connection with the body of your sheet metal grill. (It cannot be connected to the exposed body, but must be connected to a conductive material.)
