【Simple 2-Wire Universal Design】 This product is a 2-wire ignition switch compatible with electric scooters, mopeds, scooters, and some e-bikes. It features a simple design and intuitive operation. The circuit is controlled by turning the key knob. This makes it ideal as a replacement for damaged original switches or for adding basic power control and anti-theft functions to your DIY projects. Main function: Turns the circuit on/off. The switch has a simple single-pole changeover (SPST) or similar design: Key in "ON" position: Both wires are connected, the main circuit is powered, and the vehicle can be started. Key in "OFF" position: Both wires are disconnected, the main circuit remains powered, but the vehicle cannot be used. Key removal: Locks the steering column (if mounted at the front of the vehicle) or the switch itself, providing basic anti-theft protection. Robust cylinder and contacts. Cylinder: Uses a brass cylinder and steel pins for reliable locking and unlocking. Two keys (Phillips or slotted) are included. Electrical Contacts: Large internal copper contacts designed to withstand the current found in electric vehicles (e.g., the operating current of 36V/48V systems), ensuring a stable power supply and low heat generation. 【Universal Mounting】 Threaded body with rear mounting nut. Common drill hole diameters: 22 mm or 25 mm. A hole of the appropriate diameter must be drilled into the vehicle chassis or dashboard for installation. The lock is then secured from the inside using the included nut.
