Precautions for use:

Before testing the current If there is a leak, please turn off the engine and remove the key. Do not start the engine during the test to avoid blowing the fuse. The leak should simulate a stationary vehicle. Ensure all doors are locked, the key is removed, and the on-board computer is put into sleep mode. Please wait patiently for the computer to exit sleep mode before taking any action. The timing varies depending on the car model. The ideal value for most vehicles is between 20 and 50 mA.

Instructions:

Park the car, turn off the engine, open the hood, lock it, and wait.

Use the black spring clip to tighten the black clamp on the negative battery terminal and the red clamp on the positive terminal.

Loosen the nut to disconnect the battery.

Read the display:

mA corresponds to 0.05 A.

After testing, remove the device and reconnect the battery. A spark should be present.

The measuring tool comes with a small 10A fuse. If it is damaged, replace it with one of the same specification.
