Description
stove fan is the ideal complement to your fireplace, as it allows for faster heat distribution. Especially in large rooms, heat can take a long time to spread evenly, since hot air rises and radiates from there. It can take quite a while for a spacious living room to be comfortably heated. With a stove fan, you accelerate heat distribution, as the fan dissipates the heat coming from the firebox directly into the room thanks to its five blades and the associated rotating motion. The fan does not need an external power source, as it generates its own electricity. It is, in fact, a thermoelectric fan that sits on the chimney and produces electricity from the temperature difference between the top and bottom of the fan. This is how it starts moving as soon as the underside of the fan reaches a temperature of 70°C. It can be used up to a maximum surface temperature of 350°C. Unlike conventional fans, this product is designed for use at very high temperatures. A normal fan would melt, require an electrical connection, and have an excessive airflow. This is not the case with the stove fan, which has a pleasantly gentle airflow of 120 to 140 cfm. For a better overview of the temperatures, it is recommended to check them using a chimney thermometer (not included). Thanks to the rotation of the stove fan, the warm air circulates and increases the efficiency of the heating system. With this more targeted distribution of warm air, the stove doesn't need to be fed as much, and you also save on firewood. Thus, the stove fan is distinguished by its rapid heat distribution, heating efficiency, fuel economy, and the fact that it requires no additional resources to operate.
Note: Particularly with small stoves, it is important to note that the fan cannot be installed near the stovepipe due to limited space. If the fan cannot rotate at its installation location, the position must be changed. Indeed, hot air can only be circulated when the fan is rotating.
