Regenerating activated carbon filter for cooker hoods

Cooker hoods filter and absorb odours and fumes produced during cooking. But they can only function effectively and hygienically if the activated carbon filter is clean and in good condition.The activated charcoal filter converts your cooker bonnet from exhaust mode to recirculation mode. It extracts, ensuring a pleasant room environment.

Thanks to its regenerable properties, the filter does not need to be replaced frequently. The filter can simply be regenerated in the oven every six months. This cleans it of deposits and restores its effectiveness. To do this, preheat your oven to a maximum of 200 degrees (fan-assisted) and leave the filter to regenerate in the oven for 120 minutes. After this, allow the odour filter to cool down sufficiently and reinstall it in your extractor fan.
With regular adherence to the refresh and replacement intervals, the filter has a service-life of about three years. This way, you can ensure that your cooker hood continuously provides optimal performance and effectively eliminates unpleasant odours.
