Instructions:

1. pH Measurement (without battery):

Measuring Neutral/Acid/Alkaline Value:

First, turn the knob to pH until it clicks into place.

Gently wipe the metal probe with fine sandpaper to remove any limescale, rinse the test probe with clean water, then wipe it with a paper towel or clean cloth, etc., for 3-5 seconds to eliminate static electricity and begin the measurement.

(1) Insert the test probe into the neutral solution at the black position.

(2) The pointer will move slowly, and the reading will be taken once the pointer has stopped oscillating (approximately 3 to 5 minutes).

2. Measuring the Chlorine Value (requires battery installation):

1. Finding the Adjustment Point

A. Install a 1.5V "AA" alkaline battery

B. Turn the knob towards CL until it can no longer be moved.

C. Insert the clear metal rod into the water in the black position (the water should be a standard solution with a CL value of 1.5 PPM).

D. Gently stir the water with the metal rod, then slowly adjust the knob to the right until the pointer points to a known standard CL value.

E. Remove the test rod from the water. Be careful not to move the knob. The pointer moves to the right and stops at a letter between A and E. This letter is the adjustment point.
