【Universal Starter Switch for Small Vehicles】 This waterproof starter switch from GOOFIT is compatible with electric scooters, go-karts, ATVs, dirt bikes, and some small motorcycles from 50 to 250 cc. It controls the vehicle's electric starter and is a practical and universal accessory for replacing damaged original switches or for repairs.
【Waterproof and Robust Design】
Protection rating: IP65/IP67 protection against water and dust. The switch housing is waterproof and effectively protects against rainwater, pressure washer jets, and dust. It is suitable for outdoor use and off-road riding.
Contacts and Materials: The internal silver alloy contacts ensure excellent conductivity and a long service life.
The outer housing is made of weather-resistant ABS plastic or features a rubber sleeve, providing shock and UV resistance. Installation method: Standard 22 mm (Φ22 mm) or 12 mm (Φ12 mm) diameter holes are typically used, secured from the back with nuts for easy and secure mounting. Instantaneous switching function: This is a normally open instantaneous switch. The circuit closes when the button is pressed and closes automatically when released. Specifically designed to control the starter relay during push-starting. Easy installation and wiring: Typically 2-wire (some models have 3 wires with an indicator light): Main wiring: Connect the switch in series with the starter relay control circuit. One end is connected to the ignition switch power supply (power available in the ON position), the other end to the starter relay control terminal. Indicator light wire (if present): If the switch has an integrated LED indicator, a third wire usually needs to be grounded so that the indicator lights up when the button is pressed. Primarily compatible vehicles: Electric start buttons for electric scooters and go-karts. Electric start switches for small ATVs, dirt bikes, and mopeds.
