Description
The marking gauge is an indispensable tool for making precise joints. It can also be used as a depth gauge. Two types of blades meet your different needs: one, mounted on ball bearings, ensures a cleaner cut and is suitable for softwoods, while the other, with a locking mechanism, is designed for hardwoods. It allows for effortless cutting with the grain and creates perfect cut marks. Two settings – micrometric and coarse – allow for more precise and detailed adjustments. A knurled wheel and shaft make adjustments easier and faster. The precision-ground steel shaft, 20 cm in diameter and graduated to the millimeter, guarantees accurate settings. The 3.9 cm brass flat glides smoothly along the edge of the workpiece, allowing for clean marking with or against the grain. The blade folds into the marking gauge's base for optimal protection when not in use and for easy vertical storage. Ball bearing scribe with 2 micrometric and coarse settings, precision rod and brass flat.
