This cable hook lock fits between the two outer rollers of the winch cable guide, eliminating wear on the hook rollers.
It prevents the winch motor and gears from pulling the cable too far and causing the rollers to fall off.
It maintains tension on the hook to prevent the cable from coming loose.
It eliminates hook noise during descent.
Slots have also been designed to act as a cable anti-reverse mechanism should the cable break.
