Close the window or door to read the outside temperature from inside. Usage For optimal performance, avoid exposing the window thermometer to direct sunlight, as this can affect temperature readings. If recalibration is needed, rotate the adjustment dial left or right for minor differences. For significant discrepancies, remove the back cover to access the calibration screw. Other information The thermometer features highly sensitive precision bimetal strips that effectively record temperature changes. It is designed to prevent rain exposure and can be easily cleaned and repaired if dirt accumulates on the dial.
