Description

General description

The Windshield Repair Kit is designed for DIY car enthusiasts to effectively repair chips, cracks, and scratches on most exterior glass surfaces, particularly double-layer sandwich windshields. This kit is suitable for small damages such as bubbles, spider webs, stars, crescents, and cracks up to 12 inches (30 cm) long, and round damages no larger than 1 inch in diameter.

Technical specifications

  • Repair fluid shear strength: 20 PA
  • Maximum crack length: 12 inches (30 cm)
  • Maximum round damage diameter: 1 inch

    • Installation

  • Clean and dry the glass surface before application.
  • Squeeze the resin into the cracks or chips.
  • Place the crack on the cured strip and dry quickly under UV light for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Remove residual resin with a spatula.

    • Usage

    The windshield repair kit is easy to use and does not require disassembly of the windshield, preventing potential damage from glass replacement. It effectively prevents the spread of cracks and ensures safe driving.
