: This is a replacement pump outlet only for cleaning the windshield.The washer pump is located at the bottom of the washer bottle, this will often be very low on the car.
Access to the washer pump can be gained by partially removing the inner wheel arch from the bumper trim. The pump is inserted into the windshield washer bottle. The washer hoses need to be plugged in, some may have a clip to release them, have dug in and are difficult to remove, heat them with a hair dryer and will come off very easily.
Never let the washer pump run dry as this causes a breakdown, also put in more washer fluid than recommended as it is less likely to freeze.Do not put antifreeze in the washing machine bottle. Always put the windshield fluid first then fill with water.
