Helpful tip

No reception from outdoor sensor: Replace the display unit and/or the external sensor. Devices must be located within 100 m of each other. Make sure both devices are placed at least 30 feet away from any electronic devices that may interfere with wireless communication (TVs, microwaves, computers, etc.). If you can't get them the right distance apart, try bringing the two devices together and restarting them.Please note that when you slide the channel on the back of the outdoor sensor to one of channels 1, 2, and 3, the display unit will show the same channel or all three channels in turn, indicating that the signal has been successfully received.Outdoor temperature flashing or displaying dashes: Bring the sensor and display unit indoors and remove at least one battery from each.Reinstall the battery in the outdoor sensor or display unit.Leave the devices a few meters apart for approximately 20 minutes to establish a strong connection.Inaccurate temperature reading: Ensure that the display unit and sensor are placed out of direct sunlight and away from any heat source or ventilation.
