Remote control distance: up to approximately 3-5 meters (cannot be controlled through walls and objects; all remote controls for this model are common). Detection distance: up to approximately 3-4 meters (ambient temperature below 30 degrees Celsius); cannot be detected through walls and objects. The detection distance will be reduced in summer when the temperature is above 30 degrees Celsius; this is not a problem. Detection range: 110-degree angle (depending on the environment, the distance and detection angle may vary slightly). Install the batteries, use the remote control to turn on the alarm unit. The green light will illuminate for approximately 20 seconds; this 20-second power-on delay allows you to leave the infrared alarm's detection zone during these 20 seconds. After 20 seconds, the green light will turn off. When you turn off the infrared alarm, it goes into alert mode. If someone enters the infrared alarm's detection zone at that moment, the red light to the left of the green light will start flashing for 5 seconds. This 5-second delay allows the owner to more easily turn off the alarm in time to avoid false alarms. After 5 seconds, if no signal is received from the owner to turn off the alarm, even if prompted, it will remain on. Even if an intruder leaves the detection zone, the alarm will still sound a loud alarm for 30 seconds at a volume of 105 decibels. After the alarm has been silent for 5 seconds, if another person enters the detection zone, the alarm will sound again and then again. When the infrared alarm sounds, you can deactivate it using the remote control to stop the alarm.
