Wooden Cold Frame, Polycarbonate, 100 x 65 x 40 cm, Brown

Protect young plants and extend the season with this compact wooden cold frame. A warm Brown fir frame holds a clear polycarbonate lid, so seedlings, cuttings and herbs get light and shelter without taking up a whole bed. The panel lifts and props open, so heat can escape on a bright day and fresh air reach the seedlings underneath.

Made from fir wood and PC board, the frame is naturally insulating while the glazed top traps warmth and lets you check on plants at a glance. Fir side boards keep the roots insulated while the glazing traps warmth that would otherwise be lost overnight.
