Installation steps:
1. Download the application software:
Scan the QR code on your Android smartphone to download the application. iOS users can search for "HD WiFi Cam Pro" directly in the App Store.
2. Connect the camera to the Wi-Fi access point:
Briefly press the power button on top of the camera. The blue LED will flash rapidly in Wi-Fi access point mode. Open your smartphone's Wi-Fi settings, select "dgk wifi dgkxxxx" from the Wi-Fi network list, and tap "Connect." Once connected, open the app and tap the smartphone icon to connect directly to the device and view the video. (Note that in this connection mode, the smartphone must remain within range of the camera's access point.)
3. Remote connection to the camera:
(1) Activate Wi-Fi on your smartphone and connect to your home network. Then,
Open the application, tap "Add device," you will be taken to a new page, tap the button once, you will be taken to the page with the Wi-Fi connection information, and enter the Wi-Fi password.
(2) Go to Settings, select the "Connect device access point" page, and tap the connected device access point to connect the dgk Wi-Fi camera.
(3) Once the camera is successfully connected to the Wi-Fi, return to the application interface. There you can check the camera's online status in the application's device list.
(5) Note: The device only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, not 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
Warning:
1. The mini camera supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and a 64 GB TF card (TF card not included). It is not compatible with 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
2. The TF card must be inserted into the hidden compartment of the camera when it is switched off. Otherwise, the TF card cannot be recognized when the camera is opened.
3. Ensure adequate power when using the X5 camera. Preferably, use an AC adapter connected to a power outlet.
4. Use the camera according to the instructions. If your camera's Wi-Fi connection is not recognized, you can first reset it and then reconnect it to your Wi-Fi network.
5. Due to lighting, shooting angle, and different monitor settings, there may be slight color variations between the product and the image. This does not affect the functionality.
