Press the "SET" button to display "1"; press again to display "01". When "1" is displayed, measure the speed; press "ADD" to switch from "1" to "2"; when "2" is displayed, "2" measures the frequency. Press "ADD" briefly for +1, press and hold for +10. For speeds below 1000 RPM, the speed is corrected to one decimal place; no decimal place is used for speeds > 1000 RPM. Set the appropriate frequency for measuring the speed, below 100 kHz (999.9 * 99 = 98,990.1 Hz).
