Simplicity Itself
I Purchased this as a Keen Amatuer, Totally Satisfied, not only by the Price, but the fact that the Router is built in to the Machine. The easily adjustable Rise&Fall Adjustment is out of this World. Anyone who has gone to the Trouble, inverting a Router, knows the Trouble, that you can face,I would Gladly Recomend this Machine, anyone who is interested in Woodwork,DIY,Er,Hobbyist, You will not Reget your Purchase. Good bit of kit
Not used the unit very much yet but it seems well made and very robust. It wasn't difficult to assemble and the only minor hitch is that the locking bar for the chuck is tucked away under the unit so you need one hand to operate the lever, one hand to use the locking spanner and one hand to insert the router bit! I have over come this by using a cable strap connected to the bar that I can wedge under the front panel. Shame there wasn't a little more thought given to this as I'm sure it wouldn't have been difficult to extend the bar out of the front panel with some kind of locking mechanism. I havent given a 5 star rating as nothing is ever perfect but it does rate a 4.5 in my book. Read more

Value for money
Ok, the instructions are a bit rubbish, but at this price what do you really expect. What I wanted was the wind up depth setting. I've faffed around mounting my router into a table and trying to set the depth with great difficulty. Like other reviews have said, it's not obvious how to lock the depth, using a hidden wheel underneath. To lock the spindle to change bits you have to pull a loop underneath, again well hidden. When you know about these, if you can't assemble it without instructions you maybe shouldn't buy anything of this type. The locking is dead easy, better still the spindle lock. Long term use may change my mind but so far so good 2 collets and a spanner come with the unit. My only gripe is that the storage on the ends of the machine don't hold the collets or spanner Read more

Good value
Took a little while to put together, once I found the fence hidden at the bottom of the box. Seems well built, have only tested it for a short while but easy to use. Read more

Fantastic for the price
I'd been toying with the idea of a routing table for some time but was reluctant to pay in excess of £150 for just the table and then to have to buy another router (you've got to have a second one for the purpose) for it. I came across this and figured because I only needed it for occasional DIY use that I'd give it a go. * The motor is powerful enough for all the jobs I can imagine using it for. * The plastic fence blocks are suitable enough although I did replace them with a longer (straighter) length of timber for longer lengths. * The featherboards proved quite useful. I hadn't used these before but am already thinking of ways I can improve on them. * The dust extraction facility is useful although an adaptation to include collection underneath the table would be good. * The storage compartments don't seem to fit any size router bit but this in no way affects the functionality of the table and can be easily rectified. So far I've used this versatile, fun tool to produce all the skirting board and architrave for my loft extension and have effectively stored my traditional router away. Read more

I have not had a router table before. This does everything I expected. Particularly impressed with the router height adjuster. Easy to use. Could do with some provision for starter pins, however Read more
