The Board of Directors and management of Liberty House Toys Ltd, located at 20 –
24 Gibraltar Row, Liverpool, L3 7HJ, which operates in the retail to the education
sector, are committed to preserving the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all
the physical and electronic information assets throughout their organisation in order
to preserve its competitive edge, cash-flow, profitability, legal, regulatory and
contractual compliance and commercial image. Information and information security
requirements will continue to be aligned with Liberty House Toys Ltd’s goals and the
ISMS is intended to be an enabling mechanism for information sharing, for electronic
operations, for e-commerce and for reducing information-related risks to acceptable
levels.
Liberty House Toys Ltd’s current strategic business plan and risk management
framework provide the context for identifying, assessing, evaluating and controlling
information-related risks through the establishment and maintenance of an ISMS.
In particular, business continuity and contingency plans, data backup procedures,
avoidance of viruses and hackers, access control to systems and information
security incident reporting are fundamental to this policy.

objectives, which are developed in accordance with the business objectives, the

All Employees of Liberty House Toys Ltd and certain external parties are expected to
comply with this policy and with the ISMS that implements this policy. All Employees,
and certain external parties, will receive appropriate training. The consequences of
breaching the information security policy are set out in the disciplinary policy and in
contracts and agreements with third parties.
The ISMS is subject to continuous, systematic review and improvement.
Liberty House Toys Ltd has established an Information Security Team that includes
the IT Manager, Data Protection Manager, Team Managers and the Managing
Director to support the ISMS framework and to periodically review the security policy.

following the framework of ISO27001:2013.

Much of the Company’s work is of a strictly confidential nature. The Company’s business
depends on ensuring information relating to the Company’s business and systems and those
of our clients, customers and suppliers is protected. Further the Company has a reputation for
conducting its business in a responsible and ethical manner. All employees are expected to
protect such confidential information and in their actions demonstrate their respect for the
Company’s corporate values.
You are therefore requested to read this section on protecting the Company’s business very
carefully, to ensure that you understand its significance and you do nothing that will undermine
the Company’s business or the confidentiality of its business information.
If there is any doubt in your mind about security matters you should immediately seek the
advice of your Manager.
Duty of confidentiality
You shall not during or after your employment disclose or use for your own benefit or the
benefit of anyone else confidential information belonging to the Company.
You have a personal responsibility to protect and maintain confidentiality of both Company
and client and supplier information. This includes information which if known to our competitors
would be commercially damaging. You must not, except as authorised or required by law or
your duties, reveal any confidential information relating to the Company. This obligation will
continue after the termination of your employment unless and until any such information
comes into the public domain other than through any breach of this provision by you.
It is a principal condition of employment that the affairs of any client or information relating to
any matter being dealt with or information obtained by the Company shall be treated as
completely confidential and shall not be discussed externally. Any breach of your obligation
will result in disciplinary action and is likely to result in summary dismissal for gross
misconduct. In such circumstances you shall indemnify the Company and the Lawtons Ltd
against any loss arising from such breach.
SECURITY OF PERSONAL AND COMPANY PROPERTY
Personal property
You are responsible for your own personal property and must safeguard it by ensuring that
you keep it in a secure place. The Company cannot accept responsibility for any loss or
damage; this should be covered by your own personal insurance arrangements.
Company property
You are responsible for any Company equipment or documents issued to you whilst in the
Company’s employment.
You will be issued with a fob to access the office at 20-24 Gibraltar Row, Liverpool, L3 7HJ.
You must take good care of the fob. If the fob is lost or stolen you must report that fact to your
Manager immediately.
On the termination of your employment, or at any other time in accordance with instructions
given to you by the Company, you will immediately return to the Company all equipment,
correspondence, records, specifications, software, models, notes, reports and other
documents and any copies thereof and any other property belonging to the Company
(including but not limited to Company equipment, keys, fobs and passes) which are in your
possession or under your control.
You shall, if so required by the Company, confirm in writing your compliance with your
obligations detailed above.
General rules for company security
Personal effects should at no time be left unattended. The Company does not accept
responsibility for the loss, damage, or disappearance of personal effects. Notwithstanding this
policy, any losses must be reported immediately to the Company so that prompt action can
be taken to attempt recovery and necessary measures can be made to prevent a recurrence.
You should ensure that all your confidential papers are locked away when you are not at your
desk.
You should maintain a clean desk policy and at the end of each day all documents should be
stored in locked filing cabinets.
Correspondence or other Company papers should not be taken out of the office without the
permission of your Manager. If you are permitted to take work papers or other documents of
a confidential nature out of the office, you are required to take all necessary steps to protect
the security of those documents.
All confidential papers to be destroyed should be shredded or placed in a shredding box.
CONDITION TO SEARCH EMPLOYEES
Searches
The Company reserves the right to search you or any of your property held on Company
premises at any time if there are reasonable grounds to believe that you are guilty of any
breach of the Company’s rules.
Personal searches will be carried out by security and/or local management as appropriate.
Searches will be conducted with your consent and in the presence of at least one witness.
The Company also reserves the right to invite the police to obtain a warrant to search the
Company premises and/or people suspected of possession of drugs or who are committing
any other criminal act.
If you refuse to permit the search to take place your refusal will normally be treated as gross
misconduct and action will be taken against you within the Company’s disciplinary procedure.
PERSONAL RECORDS
Employee’s personal details are kept in both manual and automated filing systems.
All employees must notify the Company of their permanent home address, telephone number,
marital status, details of family, bank branch and account number.
It is important that changes in your personal circumstances are notified immediately to the
Company. These include changes to the following:
• Name
• Address/telephone number
• Marital status
• Dependants (e.g. for private medical insurance purposes)
• Beneficiaries (e.g. for death in service benefit)
• Persons to be notified in case of emergency
• Bank details for salary payment
• Professional and educational qualifications
Periodically you may be asked to check the data held by the Company.
In accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data
Protection Regulation 2016, the information held by the Company about yourself will be made
available to you within 30 days of your request accompanied by the prescribed fee (currently
£10). -
Refund policy
Returns
Making you happy is our number one priority here at Liberty House Toys!
We are happy to exchange or refund goods if returned within 30 days of purchase, provided the goods are unused, unassembled, its original condition and packaging with all materials, manuals and accessories intact.
Upon delivery, it is the customer's responsibility to check the contents of their packages and inform us of any damage, faults or issues with the product.
Changed Your Mind
If you have changed your mind and no longer want the item or items you have purchased, you will have to pay for the item to be sent back to us. The item must be unused, unassembled, in its original condition and packaging with all materials, manuals and accessories intact. We recommended using a tracked service as we are not liable if the item goes missing.
Alternatively, we can organise a collection for the parcel for you. The fee for this collection will be deducted from your refund.
Once we receive the goods we will process a full refund.
Please note we will not refund the cost of you returning the item to us.

Returning a Damaged or Faulty Item
We strive to ensure all our products reach you in perfect condition. If you have found damage when opening your parcel please contact us.
In the unlikely situation that you receive a faulty product, please contact us. Here we can offer you a full replacement or a refund, you can state which one you would prefer when contacting us.
You have 14 days to inform us of any damage or fault with the product.
Our customer service team will be in touch.
In all cases, this item will be inspected and if it is confirmed as faulty then we will issue a suitable form of redress (replacement/repair/refund).
Returning Incorrect Items
Upon delivery, it is the customer’s responsibility to check the contents of their packages and inform us of any discrepancies at the earliest opportunity.
Please note that some items may be dispatched in an outer carton that differs in description to that of the items ordered. Where you have received the incorrect items, we will arrange collection of the incorrect items on a date suitable for you within 7 days of the correct item being delivered. Where the correct item has been delivered and the incorrect item has not been collected or otherwise returned to us, then you will be liable for the cost of the incorrect item(s).
Forms of Redress
The acceptable forms of redress for any return are repair, replacement, or a refund.

We always look to resolve issues directly with our customers, and our customer service team are happy to assist with your queries. Under European Legislation, if you are not satisfied with the way that we propose to resolve any issue you have with a product you have ordered from our website, you may raise a complaint with the European Online Dispute Resolution Platform.
Refunds
Once the item is received back to the warehouse, it will be checked and granted it meets our return policy conditions, we will then offer a refund for this item. Refunds will be applied to the payment method that was used to purchase the item.
