Stands and bases for stationary tools

If you're ever in the market for a stationary machine, it's best to try and find the right support or a suitable base. Generally, buyers will often wait until the last second or until it's too late to take care of this purchase, as it's deemed only a "secondary product". Then, they are scared off by both the price and somewhat limited scope that a stand tends to have. Contrary to what they believe, it is obvious that the proper functioning of any machine depends in part of its seating position and the conditions in which it used. There'seven less stopping you nowadays, as universal bases, adaptable to several machines, are widely available.

With its extreme versatility, it can be adapted to a circular saw, router, drill or any other portable power tool that might require a stable and secure position. Finally, it could not be any more practical can. In two quick movements, it folds up neatly and can be stored in a small corner.

6. Multifunctional sawmill

Circular saw to table saw

This accessory is highly recommended for the use of any saws that require cuts of increasedaccuracy. A tool like the circular saw can be placed under or over the table to saw through any situation. It can also accomodate a jigsaw or router. Even without any machine, the sawmill, also referred to a saw table, can always be used as a very practical mobile work top.

I was trained as a pipe worker and a pipe-welder and after having travelled for 35 years working around the UK, I became the head of a metal shop, then a designer and in the end the head engineer. I have designed and built a workshop where I make metal sculptures: I managed to find a piece of paradise where I can let my imagination run wild. Auctions and garage sales are no secret to me. I find unusual objects and old tools there that I collect or transform into works of art. I also like decoration, painting on canvas, and gardening. I am developing new technologies concerning tools. To share my passion and advise you in your choice of materials is a real pleasure.
