CALOR

In 1917, when it was founded, CALOR manufactured the first European electric iron. The 1920s saw the launch of the parabolic radiator, the hairdryer and the fan. Then, in the early 30s, came the toaster, the automatic thermostatic iron and the first fan heater. Since then, there has been a steady stream of inventions and world firsts: Tweeny 2 in 1, Epilacire, the 1st electronic iron, the revolutionary Durilium ‘Supergliss’ soleplate, the cordless iron and Access, the 1st epilator with a pivoting head in 2002. CALOR has built up a wealth of expertise in the manufacture and development of household appliances.
