FONTANOT
The Fontanot staircase range today represents the most qualified and complete expression of spiral and ramp staircases in the industry. In 1947 the Albini brothers set up in Rimini, in Borgo San Giovanni, a artisan company for the production of various types of ladders for work. The workshop, located in the town, employs 6 people, essentially serving a local clientele. As the first 'Ladder Industry', Fontanot had no precedent. Enzo Fontanot started from the principle that the staircase is a 'world' made up of steps, structure and railings and worked on this system using increasingly modular elements, reducing parts and multiplying functions.
