The resistance electric boiler uses electricity to heat water with a resistor, as its name suggests.

It is possible to achieve an efficiency greater than 100% (or 1) with condensing electric boilers because they produce heat through the water heated by the resistor but also with the steam released by this heated water (which is also transmitted to the house).
Example: imagine you have a boiler that consumes 100kWh and it returns 91 towards hot water or radiator-type heating system showing an efficiency of 0.91, which is an efficiency of 91%.
It is important to know that an electric boiler consumes more energy. However, acquiring an electric boiler is cheaper than other types of boilers. Prefer it for auxiliary heating.
