Product information

Description

This float switch is a self-contained electromechanical device for automatic liquid level control in domestic or professional installations. It operates on the physical principle of Archimedes' principle: its hollow body, made of a resistant material, rises progressively as the liquid level increases, until it reaches a precise 50° tilt angle, which activates the integrated electrical contact. The switching point is highly adjustable thanks to the counterweight supplied as standard. Compatible with virtually all single-phase submersible pumps (up to 4 kW) and adaptable to three-phase pumps via an external relay, it is easily installed on a closed tank (side mounting) or in an open basin (surface mounting). It operates with non-corrosive liquids—drinking water, light wastewater, rainwater—even in slightly contaminated environments. Its robust design and 250 V / 16 A certification meet the applicable safety requirements on the French market, in particular according to the UTE C 15-100 recommendations for electrical installations outside explosive zones.
